As the Director of Leasing for Peak Realty Chicago, my main areas of focus are on our owners, our internal team, growing our rental database and improving overall efficiency.
Engaging with ownership to understand and execute their specific asset plans is key to ensuring a symbiotic relationship which in turn allows us to minimize the rate of vacancies and grow their buildings rent rolls. I’m often consulting with current/prospective owners to understand rents/pro-forma rents by unit type and by neighborhood.
On the internal side, maintaining a strong dialogue with our leasing managers and brokers is critical to our day to day success. We are constantly met with timelines and critical dates that must be tracked carefully and accomplished quickly. We are continually reviewing our processes to make sure we are offering the best service possible to our clients (building owners and individual renters/sellers/buyers) and the best software to our team.
When I’m not in the office or on the road seeing apartments or buildings, you can usually find me somewhere in Wicker Park enjoying the perks of living near Division street. I greatly appreciate the feel of living in a true Chicago neighborhood and often find myself strolling the streets just to observe beautiful multi-family buildings, many of which have been standing for over 100 years!
Great hearty salads, great espresso, the service is quick, atmosphere warm and cozy. Great place to go sit for 30 minutes, have a cup of coffee or stay longer and get some work done.
Incredible authentic Brazillian restaurant with an outstanding buffet. Open only for breakfast and brunch, you eat your meal in a “living room” of a converted 3 flat to a restaurant. Come with a small group and enjoy, make sure you get lots of Feijoada.
My favorite burgers in the city combined with quick service and the conveniences of a true neighborhood. When you have that hankering for a burger, and you don’t want to wait two hours… head to the smaller of the two Chevals.
