I love living in Chicago, this city has amazing culture, food, and music scenes. I am definitely a people person, I enjoy meeting and getting to know others and learning even more about the city in the process.

Café Marie Jeanne

Located at the corner of California and Augusta, this unassuming restaurant really delivers on flavor. They serve seasonal farm to table cuisine with amazing wine pairings, in a nice warm atmosphere.

The California Clipper

Jazz dive bar Live jazz certain days of the week, red lights, dim, romantic, live music. Great drinks classic bourbon rye old fashion.

Sleeping village

Coffee shop in the morning, music venue by night, this is a not well-known gem in Avondale. They have an awesome patio in the summertime where you can enjoy local food and drink outside before catching a show onstage!

Humboldt Park

In the summertime Humboldt park truly comes alive! You can find music every Sunday morning in the park, food vendors representing cuisine from around the world, colorful shops run by local small businesses, and as an avid runner I love having access to the 606.
