West Loop
Looking to spend the day in the West Loop? Begin your day shopping at Smitten Boutique located on Madison Row. They have an amazing selection of home decor.
West Loop is also known for some of the best food in Chicago. While there are lots of restaurants to choose from, we recommend Monterverde and Black Barrel. Monteverde offers the perfect mix between traditional and modern italian. Black Barrel is a classic go-to spot. It is very lively and has a large range of food and drinks.
The night doesn’t have to end just yet. After dinner, head to Lazy Bird located in the lower level of the Hoxton Hotel. Lazy Bird offers romantic speakeasy vibes. Follow the brick road to Trivoli Tavern for a $5 happy hour!
Lincoln Park
Start your day at the Kohler Water Spa. This spa is the perfect place to unwind and relax. Enjoy a massage, facial, or even have your hair and makeup done. They also have services specifically for men! If you are looking for an outdoor activity, check out the Lincoln Park Zoo.

If you’re looking for a luxe day or evening, Gold Coast is for you. Head to The Drake Hotel or The Peninsula Hotel for afternoon tea.
Gold Coast is famous for their fine dining options. While there are many to choose from, we have narrowed it down to two places we think are best for the occasion. Maple & Ash is a steakhouse with a menu crafted by two-Michelin-star Chef Danny Grant. If you’re looking for Paraisan style dining, be sure to visit Brasserie located in the Waldorf Astoria Hotel. Sip on an espresso martini while enjoying french desserts.
Wicker Park
Wicker Park offers a wide variety of different restaurants. Mirai Sushi is the perfect romantic place to dine in or take out for dinner at home. Another great option is Momma Delia, offering contemporary Spanish food by Spanish born chefs. Take your girls out for Galentine’s Day at Etta Bucktown. This Instagrammable spot is the best place for happy hour!
