Rogers Park was developed on the convergence of two Native American trails, Rogers Avenue and Ridge Boulevard. Settlers started arriving in this area from season to season. Rogers Park is home to single-family homes and brick apartments. Rogers Park is home to two college campuses: Loyola University and Northwestern University giving the neighborhood a city and small college town feel.

The Emil Bach House designed by Frank Lloyd Wright is available for nightly stays or for private events. Indian Boundary Park offers a spray park, playground, and tennis courts. Enjoy free family-oriented concerts in the park.
