Licensed Real Estate Agent
Peak Realty Chicago
I’m always excited to help play a vital role in finding my clients exactly what they’re looking for, and to become their go-to resource for anything and everything real estate. I bring many years of sales and leadership experience to my role and am driven by building relationships with my clients and helping them achieve their goals. I have found the key to my success has come from bringing together my three core value pillars of Honesty, Reliability, and Perseverance to every interaction and/or transaction.
I moved here from Brooklyn and originally had plans to move out West, but Chicago has it figured out. You can get lost in any of Chicago’s incredible neighborhoods, and there is always something for everyone in each of them. In the 12 years that I have been here I have lived everywhere from Wicker Park to Lincoln Square, and I can truly say that Chicago has become more than just a place to live for my family and I, it’s our home. When I’m not working you can find me playing guitar, hanging out with my family, or out discovering something new about the city that I haven’t experienced or tried yet.
Easily the best cold brew Chicago has to offer! And now you can visit a DMC location in almost every neighborhood in the city! My go-to location is the Osmium Coffee Bar on Belmont Ave in Lakeview. Everything is fresh and made to order.
Looking for a cozy dining spot a little more up North? This is a favorite ‘date-night’ location for my wife and I, and I can recommend essentially everything on their menu. My go-to is the Bad Burger with a side of Elotes. The service, location, and quality food served are enough to make a trip here, even if you live downtown!
Chicago is beautiful year-round, and I love coming here with my family! There’s a small nature preserve that my stepdaughter always bolts to when we’re here so she can pretend to be in a deep, dark forest. Playgrounds, in-door swimming, and enough space to enjoy yourself without ever feeling like you’re on-top of anyone’s party.
Let’s be honest, you are either a foodie when you move here, or you BECOME a foodie when you arrive! Fulton Market has anything you could ask for when it comes to food and restaurants. Grab the freshest Sushi in the Midwest at Momotaro. Maybe you’ve got Breakfast on the brain? Hit up Little Goat Diner for their hearty Shrimp and Cheesy Grits, or their Bull’s Eye French Toast! Another amazing restaurant is La Josie – they have a Taco Tuesday that features a new taco every week! And if you’re watching carbs, they can even substitute a lettuce wrap as the taco shell – I highly recommend the pork belly and chorizo fillings.

Matt was very responsive during the whole process. First in the morning contact to get a viewing scheduled. Took care to point out one of the big negatives of the building which it’s right next to the El Tracks. Very clear & helpful with any questions regarding process & fees.
Matt Ayo went above and beyond with helping me locate, finalize, and movie-in to my apartment at The Mondrian in Uptown. I was short on time and working long hours but he made everything stress free. Answered every question I had along the way. Can’t thank him enough, if you are looking for a new apartment or home Matt is the go-to guy.
Matt Ayo was truly the most helpful and kind person we could’ve asked for to help us find THE perfect place for us. We were initially stressed since our previous lease was ending really soon and we didn’t have much time to find a home that wouldn’t make us settle for less. However, Matt really understood our timely sensitive situation and helped us find the perfect place! Not only was it spot on with all of the amenities that we needed, but he made sure to give us the inside scoop on all of the small features that we would’ve easily missed. He was very helpful throughout the process of finalizing the paperwork and was always available to answer our millions of questions. We don’t plan on moving for a while but if we ever do need someone to help us find the right place, Matt Ayo will be the first person we go to!
I moved to Chicago from out of state and was stressed out to the max. Matt showed me my future home, walked me through the process, and tailored my search to me personally. He is a lifesaver who made the search so much easier and I would highly recommend him to any of my friends.
Matt helped me find my current apartment and I'd recommend him to anyone looking for a new home. He was really accommodating and easy to communicate with. He showed me multiple units in the building and talked through my needs and what I was looking for in a new space. Matt was also knowledgeable about the property and if he didn't have an answer to a question he would contact the property and seek answers to my questions. He also had some knowledge about the area/neighborhood which was appreciated. Matt also followed up after I moved in to see how things were going. He's great at his job and you can tell that he genuinely cares when it comes to trying to help you find a place that meets your needs. I'd go to him again for future moves!
Matt was awesome! I gave him a list with some of my non-negotiables and he took the time to research five different buildings before sitting down with me again. After settling one, we were able to negotiate on the deal (in my favor) and it really felt like he was on my side the whole time.
Super personable while being professional, highly recommend.
Matt was the perfect agent to work with. I was unexpectedly interested in a rental and he worked with my schedule to show me the place ASAP! He answered my questions, knew the facts and the building really well. Super friendly through out the whole process and very professional. 5 star service!
